Planning permission granted in Westmancote conservation area

We have secured planning permission to replace the existing concrete frame garage on this sensitive site.

Originally the village school, this 19th century dwelling is sited in the Westmancote conservation area and surrounded by multiple listed buildings. The council’s conservation officer supported the design of the replacement garage, undoing the “significant harm” caused by the 1980s prefabricated structure on the surrounding heritage assets.

Due for construction early 2024.
